Pultrusion

Pultrusion production technologyPultrusion production technology enables the manufacture of the high performance glass reinforced composites with excellent properties such as: high specific tensile strength, high stiffness, low thermal expansion coefficient. The continuous process compared to other production technologies makes pultrusion a high volume technology.

In pultrusion, the reinforcing fibers are impregnated with resin. After the impregnation the fibers are led into the heated tool designed according to the final shape of the profile. In the tool the profile is cured and then pulled out and cut to the required lengths.

Continuous lamination

Continuous lamination is used to manufacture very thin composite sheets, e. g. for ski industry and fishplates.
